Data DVD's enable you to load your video onto your home computer and edit with virtually all major editing software programs. We will digitize your video in a file format specifically for your home computer. Please choose your file option when ordering. We can provide the following file types. If you would prefer, you can send us an external hard drive for MPEG-4 or MPEG formats. You must send us an external hard drive for AVI Format.
MPEG for PC (720x480 Resolution) - works with PC Editing Programs such as Windows Movie Maker, Pinnacle Studio, Corel Moviefactory and almost all other PC Editing Programs.
MPEG-4 for MAC (640x480 Resolution) - works with MAC Editing Programs such as iMovie or Final Cut Pro.
AVI - Uncompressed (720x480 Resolution) - Will work with almost any editing program for any computer system. You must include an External Hard Drive when ordering AVI Files. File size is about 30 GB's for 2 hours of video. The Hard Drive Must be formatted NTFS for PC or MAC. No FAT32 Drives. They cannot handle the large file sizes.

What Kind of DVD Media do you use?
We use High Quality Taiyo Yuden Hardcoat Premium DVD Archival Media.
What kind of tapes do you transfer?
We transfer the following North American (NTSC) Formats: VHS, VHS-C,
8mm Video, Hi-8mm Video, Digital 8mm Video, Mini-DV, Mini-DV High
Definition to Standard Definition, and Beta, and Betamax tapes.
Do you transfer PAL/SECAM (European Format) Video Tapes?
No, we do not transfer PAL/SECAM tapes at this time. Please do not send us PAL/SECAM tapes.
Are your DVD's Copy Protected?
No. Our DVD's contain no copy protection. You will have no problem making copies with your own dvd burner. They are your to copy as you choose.
My video tape is broken, can you repair it?
Yes. We can repair video tapes for a fee of $9.99. If you have a broken video tape, please add Video Tape Repair to your order.
Can I drop off your order at your location?
We are an internet video transfer company only. All orders must be shipped to us. We do not have a retail storefront
location.
Do you send any of your work out or overseas?
No. All work is completed in our imaging lab. You precious memories will be handled with absolute care and will be packed well when shipped back to you.
Will you return all my originals?
Yes. All your original images, tapes or film will be returned along with your new DVD's or CD's.
