Why Per Tape? - Most of our overhead cost associated with video tape transfers is for labor and wear on our transfer units. It also takes more time and labor to combine more than one tape to a single DVD. Even if there are only a few minutes on a given tape The actual cost of DVD's and DVD Cases are minimal in comparision. If you have any questions regarding our pricing for DVD Combos, please call us before ordering.
Basic DVD Combo is for customers who have multiple tapes that they wish to be combined onto one DVD. (Maximum length is 2 hours, all tapes combined.) Basic DVD Combo includes a protective jewel case as pictured. It does not include titles. Price is per tape, not per DVD. Please specify which tapes you want combined or number your tapes and we will combine them in that order as possible.
For Basic DVD orders we use Premium DVD Media which is rated at least 100 Year Archival Life.
Basic DVD is available from all these North American (NTSC) formats: VHS, VHS-C, 8mm Video, Hi-8mm Video, Digital 8mm, Beta, BetaMax, MiniDV, and (MiniDV High Definition - Standard Definition). We do not transfer PAL format.

What Kind of DVD Media do you use?
We use High Quality Premium DVD Archival Media.
What kind of tapes do you transfer?
We transfer the following North American (NTSC) Formats: VHS, VHS-C, 8mm Video, Hi-8mm Video, Digital 8mm Video, Mini-DV, Mini-DV High Definition to Standard Definition, and Beta, and Betamax tapes.
Do you transfer PAL/SECAM (European Format) Video Tapes?
No, we do not transfer PAL/SECAM tapes at this time. Please do not send us PAL/SECAM tapes.
What is the difference between Basic, Standard, Premium DVD?
Basic DVD does not include titles, thumbnails, or editing. The DVD used is a blank inkjet printable DVD. You can write or use your own inkjet printer to print directly onto the DVD. Basic DVD is one tape to one DVD. Price is per tape.

Standard DVD includes Chapter Thumbnails and a Main Menu Title printed directly on the DVD & DVD Protective Case. It allows you to see what is the DVD without having to put it in a DVD player. With Standard DVD, you have the option of having more than one tape transferred to one DVD. (Maximum length is 2 hours, all tapes combined.). Please make sure your titles are typed or clearly written on a separate sheet of paper or on each tape. Price is per tape, not per DVD.
Premium DVD is for customers who would like a custom edit done on their DVD. It includes everything that the Standard DVD has, but, you can let us know what to edit out of your DVD.
Can I combine multiple tapes to a single DVD?
Yes. With Basic DVD Combo, Standard DVD, and Premium DVD you can have up to multiple tapes combined on one DVD. Prices are computed per tape, not per DVD.
Are your DVD's Copy Protected?
No. Our DVD's contain no copy protection. You will have no problem making copies with your own dvd burner. They are your to copy as you choose.
Can this DVD be imported into a computer for editing?
Yes, but we do not offer technical support for this. Our DVD's are finalized DVD's which are intended for use in dvd players, not for editing. It is possible, however, for you to import the dvd into your computer and edit with the appropriate software. You would have to purchase the appropriate software. It is not something that generally comes pre-installed on your computer.
Can I have a title put on the DVD Menu?
If you would like a title on your DVD, please select Standard or Premium DVD.
Are there chapter marks?
Yes, chapter mark every 5 minutes.
My video tape is broken, can you repair it?
Yes. If you have a broken video tape, please add Video Tape Repair to your order.
Can I drop off your order at your location?
We are an internet video transfer company only. All orders must be shipped to us. We do not have a retail storefront
location.
Do you send any of your work out or overseas?
No. All work is completed in our imaging lab. You precious memories will be handled with absolute care and will be packed well when shipped back to you.
Will you return all my originals?
Yes. All your original images, tapes or film will be returned along with your new DVD's or CD's.
